Analysis of Causes of Centrifugal Pump Shaft Fracture

If it is not a product quality problem, then the problem is not that the center line of the centrifugal pump is not aligned! That is, the two center lines do not overlap, but cross! It is generally an installation quality problem.

Cause Analysis:

1. Mainly due to the concentration of stress on the material axis, running defects on the long axis such as cracks, the cracks will propagate until the axis breaks;

2. Heat treatment of the shaft: If the treatment is not good, the shaft should be refined, otherwise, it will be damaged;

3. The material itself has internal defects and the internal causes need to be found;

4. Check whether the design manufacturer has design flaws and further explore the manufacturer;

5. Check whether the pump vibrates, find out the cause of the vibration and solve it.
