EG-250 Centrifugal Pump Used in Industry

What is a centrifugal pump used for?

Centrifugal pumps are commonly used for pumping water, solvents, organics, oils, acids, bases and any 'thin' liquids in both industrial, agricultural and domestic applications. In fact, there is a design of centrifugal pump suitable for virtually any application involving low viscosity fluids. Our EG-250 Centrifugal pumps can be used for all of the above environments.

Why is a centrifugal pump commonly used in industry?

Centrifugal Pumps are ideal for high-flow applications, with the added benefit of being very efficient to run when compared to pneumatically driven pumps. An additional key feature of a Centrifugal Pump is that it can be easily modified to suit the different requirements of the end user.

What type of pump is used for cement?

In conclusion, concrete line pumps and boom pumps are both effective methods for delivering concrete to a construction site. While line pumps are more flexible and suited for smaller projects, boom pumps are more versatile and ideal for larger-scale construction projects.

How deep can a centrifugal pump work?

The pump at ground level acts as the source of vacuum and has a theoretical lifting capability of about 30 feet (It would lift 34 feet if it could create a perfect vacuum). In practice, 25 feet is all you should design a centrifugal or jet pump to lift in order to have adequate capacity left for water usage.
