Air binding affects the operating performance of the pump.
The dangers and prevention of air binding
After the air binding phenomenon occurs, there is no liquid discharge from the pump, and there is no noise or vibration, which affects the operation.
The following methods are available to prevent the occurrence of air binding:
1. Fill the shell with liquid before starting. Do a good job of sealing the casing. The valves and shower heads that fill the water should not leak. The sealing should be good.
2. The suction line of the centrifugal pump is equipped with a bottom valve to prevent the liquid poured in before starting from flowing out of the pump. The filter prevents the inhalation of solids in the liquid. The discharge pipe is equipped with a regulating valve for starting and stopping the pump and adjusting the flow rate.
3. Place the suction port of the centrifugal pump below the liquid level to be transported, and the liquid will automatically flow into the pump.
