Jet mud mixer (mud mixing hopper) is availble

Jet mud mixer (mud mixing hopper) is the equipment to match with the drilling solids control equipment, generally used for mixing and adjusting the proportion of drilling fluid, changing the density, viscosity and water loss etc. with more excellent operation if being matched with shear pump, and also can be designed to single or double jet mud mixer as the client’s requirements.

Our Jet Mud Mixer consists of one centrifugal pump, one feeding hopper and one jet mixer. Generally, there are still pipes and valves connecting all these parts, the mud hopper matched on the jet mud mixer always 4”and 6”. Jet Mud Mixer could be installed on a skid to be a separate unit; sometimes the jet mud mixer is installed on the mixing tank and could be transported together with mud tank. When the Jet Mud Mixer is independently installed on the skid, a control panel could be offered together for easy operation.

In the drilling fluids processing system for petroleum drilling and horizontal directional drilling, jet mud mixer is used to prepare and increase the drilling fluids weight by adding and mixing bentonite, changing the fluid density and viscosity, as well as dehydration function. When the mixing hopper matched with a shear pump, the assembly unit is called jet shearing unit which is used to shear the polymer drilling mud materials. As per customers’ requirement, the jet mud mixer could be designed as Twin-type of 2 hoppers and 2 pumps. Jet Mud Mixer is an important equipment in the drilling mud recycling system.

The centrifugal pumps could be MISSION Magnum series or MISSION 2500 series, MISSION Sandmast pumps are also available.
