(6) When the centrifugal pump is to be stopped, first close the outlet valve and pressure gauge, and then stop the motor.

(7) When the newly installed centrifugal pump starts running, replace the lubricating oil (grease) every 100 hours, and then change the oil (grease) every 500 hours (or one month).

(8) Frequently adjust the packing gland and replace the packing in time to ensure normal leakage in the packing chamber. The mechanical seal should ensure normal water discharge.

(9) After the centrifugal pump is stopped in winter, it is necessary to unscrew the liquid plug at the lower part of the pump body and drain the medium to prevent freezing cracking.

(10) If the centrifugal pump is out of service for a long time, it is necessary to disassemble and dry the entire pump, apply grease to the rotating parts and joints, and store them properly.
